2 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder had two passing touchdowns in the team's 30-17 Week 18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The rookie quarterback finally had a touchdown after failing to find the end zone over his first three career games. The former Cincinnati Bearcat had his best performance of the year, totaling 224 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns. Furthermore, Ridder had 15.9 fantasy points against the Buccaneers after totaling only 22.9 fantasy points over his first three starts. The Falcons end the year with a 7-10 record and will have a top-10 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Ridder has made a case to be the starter next year.
