Duncan Robinson Will Undergo Surgery, Miss At Least One Month
2 years agoMiami Heat power forward Duncan Robinson (finger) has elected to undergo surgery on the second finger on his right hand, an ailment which has bothered him for over a month. The sharpshooter is set to be down for at least the next four weeks, opening minutes for Max Strus, Haywood Highsmith and others to fill on a short-term basis. Heralded as one of the game's premier marksmen for the past three years, Robinson has scuffled mightily in 2022-23, shooting just 33.1 percent from deep while averaging 6.9 PPG. His inconsistent role among the second unit likely shifted him to the waiver wire in many formats, while his absence will solidify his status unless he reclaims his rhythm upon his return.
