Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Samuel Ersson made it three wins in a row for himself and the team on Monday with a 28-save effort against Anaheim in a 4-1 victory. The 23-year-old was able to stay perfect right up until the final minute, giving up the lone goal to Ryan Strome with only 40 seconds left in regulation. Ersson became the fourth Flyers goalie to win three straight decisions to begin his NHL career. Bob Froese holds the all-time mark with an eight-game streak. Ersson has earned an opportunity to impress due to Carter Hart's (concussion) injury. The team expected Hart back for the final two games of their three-game trip across the West Coast, but Ersson ended up starting in all of the matchups and did superbly. He has recorded a 2.90 goals-against average with a .905 save percentage in his first NHL appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
