Jerry Jeudy Does Little With Eight Targets
2 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was once again quarterback Russell Wilson's favorite target -- he had a team-high eight targets in the Week 17 loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs -- but he did very little with all of those looks. Jeudy finished the 27-24 defeat with seven receptions for only 38 yards (5.4 yards per catch). Fantasy managers were expecting more from the 23-year-old in a good matchup on the road, but it didn't come to fruition. Despite the down performance, it's clear that Jeudy's chemistry with Wilson is growing, so he could easily bounce back in Week 18 against the Los Angeles Chargers and head into the offseason with positive momentum. In three games prior to Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Jeudy had been targeted 27 times, resulting in 266 yards and three touchdowns.
