Gardner Minshew Falters In Week 17 Loss
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Gardner Minshew completed 18-of-32 passes for 274 yards, one touchdown, and one interception during the team's 20-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The 26-year-old also fumbled twice, but the offense recovered both. It was an abysmal performance that has forced Philadelphia into a tough situation next week against the New York Giants. Starting quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder) returned to practice this week but was held out of this game in favor of getting him more rest heading into Week 18. The Eagles will almost assuredly be forced to put him back into the lineup and need him to propel the team to the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Minshew will carry no fantasy relevance next week if Hurts returns but will be considered a low-end streaming option for those playing their fantasy title game in Week 18.
