Aaron Jones A Mid-Range RB2 Against Minnesota
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones will take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17. The 28-year-old exited early last week due to an ankle injury and ended up with just eight total touches for 34 yards. However, he was left off the final injury report after practicing in a limited fashion this week and is good to go for Sunday's divisional matchup against Minnesota. Teammate AJ Dillon has been seeing an increase in usage lately and has scored in each of the past four games. Jones has not recorded a rushing touchdown since Week 10 but has found the end zone twice since then as a receiver. There is a chance Dillon will be given more work if the lingering ankle and knee injuries hold Jones back in any way. Minnesota allows the 13th-most fantasy points per game to the running back position but has struggled to stop them in the passing game, giving up the sixth-most receiving yards. With all that in mind, the sixth-year back should be considered a mid-range RB2 with a top-12 ceiling in Week 17.
