J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards Aren't On Snap Counts
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said on Wednesday that there are no restrictions on running backs J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards. Both players returned from major knee injuries in 2022, and Dobbins is heading into his fourth game since returning from a midseason clean-up surgery on his knee. He had 120 yards on 15 carries in his first game back but hasn't seen a fourth-quarter carry in either the last two games. Neither Dobbins nor Edwards have had more than 16 carries in a game, but Harbaugh insists neither is in a snap count. Dobbins had one more carry than Edwards last week, with Edwards outgaining him 99-59 on the ground. The 24-year-old Dobbins admits he's not yet at top-end speed, which likely means the Ravens will continue to lean on a more even split between he and Edwards in the backfield.
