Jets Non-Committal On Zach Wilson
2 years agoNew York Jets head coach Robert Saleh wouldn't answer if quarterback Zach Wilson would start in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks if Mike White (ribs) is unable to play. If White isn't ready to play, the Jets other options are veteran Joe Flacco and practice-squad quarterback Chris Streveler, who replaced the struggling Wilson in the third quarter of Thursday night's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Wilson was booed throughout the game by Jets faithful and spent the final 18 minutes on the bench while Streveler sparked the offense a bit. The former No. 2 overall pick last year went 9-for-18 for 92 yards and an interception before being pulled. The 23-year-old has hit rock bottom at this point and may not be able to bounce back unless he has a change of scenery with another organization.
