Christopher Tanev Considered Day-To-Day
2 years agoCalgary Flames defenseman Christopher Tanev (head) is considered day-to-day by the team. He is set to miss Wednesday's game against Vancouver after taking a puck to the side of his head Monday versus Montreal. Luckily Tanev didn't suffer a fracture during the incident and should be ready to go again soon. The hard-working rearguard has tallied five points with 22 shots, 20 hits and 55 blocks in 24 games this season. Nikita Zadorov will be moving up to the second defensive pairing in Tanev's absence. Similarly to Tanev, he doesn't offer much offensively for fantasy managers, but he does a lot on the defensive end and has recorded 31 blocks and a team-high 77 hits in 29 games.
