San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy completed 16-of-21 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown as he bested Tom Brady's Buccaneers 35-7. Purdy made big plays as well as check downs. Both his touchdown passes were over 20 yards in the air. He could have put up even bigger yardage numbers if the game had been closer, but the Niners went to a more conservative game plan after taking a 28-0 lead at halftime, and Purdy only attempted three passes in the second half. Ranking as QB8 at the conclusion of the afternoon games, Mr. Irrelevant has immediately become fantasy relevant. He is an elite QB2 in superflex leagues, and, if he keeps it up, it looks like he could be a quality QB1, too.--Mitchell Blatt
