2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has a challenging task ahead of him in Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Last week, the seventh-round rookie looked competent against the Miami Dolphins, throwing for 210 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception, and earning a 88.8 passer rating after Jimmy Garoppolo (foot) left the game early. He finished as QB18, so he would have been a quality start in two-QB leagues. Now he faces a more intense Bucs defense that will have a week to prepare for him. Tampa Bay is allowing the seventh-fewest passing yards per game and the fifth-fewest per attempt. Purdy will also likely face more pressure against the Bucs, and the 22-year-old has struggled under pressure, only completing 38.5% of his passes.
