2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel was targeted 10 times and caught six passes for 58 yards in the Niners' 33-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins. He also carried the ball four times for five yards. While the loss of QB Jimmy Garoppolo for the season might hurt the 49ers offense, it could mean more targets for Samuel. Brock Purdy, who replaced Garoppolo, was throwing a lot of underneath passes and averaged 5.7 yards per attempt in Week 13. Samuel runs a lot of underneath routes. His average depth of target this year is 4.8 yards. Samuel goes to Tampa Bay for a showdown with the Buccaneers in Week 14.--Mitchell Blatt - RotoBaller
