Philadelphia Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson (kidney) is out indefinitely after suffering a lacerated kidney in the Sunday night win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 12, according to sources. It's a non-surgical injury for Gardner-Johnson and testing is ongoing, so his timetable is still to be determined, but it's not expected to be a season-ending injury. The 24-year-old could land on Injured Reserve, however, which would keep him out for at least four games. With the Eagles pretty much a lock to make the postseason, the Eagles will probably hope he can return for a deep playoff run. It's a big loss for Philly's secondary, though, as Gardner-Johnson had racked up a career-high 60 tackles (55 solo), four tackles for loss, one sack, a league-high six interceptions and eight passes defensed in 11 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
