2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell (knee) didn't return to Sunday's win over the Saints. Fortunately, the 24-year-old may have avoided anything serious, with head coach Kyle Shanahan stating that Mitchell likely sprained his MCL, although it's not the same Knee that forced him to sit out seven games this season. In total, he has missed 15 games throughout his brief career, and it's probable he misses more moving forward. Nonetheless, Mitchell will undergo further testing. However, based on his lack of production during the 2022-23 campaign and the addition of Christian McCaffrey, it won't make much of a difference to fantasy managers if he's not in the lineup.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
