Cordarrelle Patterson A Hard-To-Trust Flex Option
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson has become hard to trust over the past few weeks. Over the first three games this year, the veteran running back averaged 15.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Furthermore, he scored 21 or more fantasy points twice during that span. However, he suffered a knee injury and missed four weeks. Upon his return, Patterson had two rushing touchdowns in 17.8 fantasy points in his first game back. Unfortunately, the former first-round pick has scored 13.4 total fantasy points over the past two weeks. Meanwhile, the Washington Commanders have held running backs to only 17.1 fantasy points per game, the sixth-fewest in the NFL this season. They have given up only one rushing touchdown to running backs over the past six weeks. Fantasy players should avoid starting Patterson if possible.
