2 years agoFree-agent running back Melvin Gordon III has generated interest from a "wide variety" of teams on the open market, according to Mike Klis of 9News. Cut loose by the Denver Broncos earlier this week, Gordon showed that he was a capable runner in 2022. However, he struggled to protect the football, coughing up five fumbles through 10 games. Although his exact role is dependent on where he signs, Gordon projects as a backup and should be benched in most leagues, if not dropped altogether.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
