Norman Powell Explodes For 30 Points
2 years agoLos Angeles Clippers guard/forward Norman Powell led the offense against Utah on Monday, scoring a season-high 30 points in a 121-114 win. He missed only five of his 15 shots and was 3-for-4 from downtown with a 7-for-7 record at the foul line. During a busy night, Powell was also able to pick up four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 28 minutes off the bench. The Clippers have just lost Paul George (hamstring) and Powell has proved that he is ready to step up. The 29-year-old also posted 26 points Saturday versus San Antonio. His work isn't always efficient, but Powell is a nifty scorer and he looks set for a great run whilst George recovers from injury.
