Darius Slayton Records 86 Yards In Week 11 Defeat
2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton hauled in five of his 10 targets for 86 yards in Sunday's 31-18 loss to the Detroit Lions. The former fifth-round pick continues to benefit from the lack of other receiving options in New York's offense. Also, the Giants were down for most of Sunday's loss to the Lions, so the Auburn product saw a season-high 10 targets. Rookie Wan'Dale Robinson exited Sunday's game with a knee injury and it remains to be seen if he's forced to miss any time. Even though the Giants don't have consistent passing volume, Slayton is a viable WR3/flex option moving forward.
