Allen Lazard Looks To Bounce Back In Week 11
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard (shoulder) will face the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night. Lazard has played through the shoulder injury the past few weeks and was left off of the final injury report for Week 11. The 26-year-old had gained at least 55 yards or scored in every game until last week, where he recorded his second-lowest reception and target totals of the year. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers had eyes for rookie Christian Watson who scored three touchdowns, but Lazard is still a fringe top-24 option moving forward. He had averaged eight targets per game from Weeks 3-9 and should see plenty of action against a Tennessee defense that allows the third-most points per game to the wide receiver position. Yes, Watson will continue to operate as one of Rodgers' top-tier options, but Lazard is the only receiver on the team that has consistently been targeted at a high rate in 2022. The fifth-year receiver will look to bounce back this week and should be considered a fringe WR2 for fantasy purposes.
