Latavius Murray Sees Team-High Nine Rushing Attempts
2 years agoDenver Broncos running back Latavius Murray continued to share the backfield with Melvin Gordon III in the Week 10 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Murray had a team-high nine carries for just 24 yards (2.7 yards per carry), adding three catches on three targets for 23 receiving yards in the 17-10 loss. Gordon is the "starter," but Murray has out-carried him in three of the last four games and has also found the end zone two times. Recently acquired Chase Edmonds had three touches for only nine yards as the RB3 in this one, but he could be involved more down the stretch, further cementing both Murray and Gordon as volatile touchdown-dependent RB3/flex options in one of the worst offenses in football.
