Christian Watson Has Breakout Three-Touchdown Performance
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson caught four of his eight targets, gaining 107 yards and scoring three touchdowns during the team's 31-28 overtime victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The rookie receiver had struggled to stay healthy up to this point but shined significantly as the starting receiver opposite Allen Lazard. Watson showed off his blazing speed, connecting on multiple deep-bomb passes from quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The 23-year-old unlocked a part of the Green Bay passing attack that was sorely lacking, and the offense as a whole was much more in sync this week compared to the last nine. Watson is on a ton of waiver wires and will undoubtedly be the top priority pick-up. Green Bay hosts the Tennessee Titans this Thursday, and Watson will be considered a WR3 at the very least in that matchup.
