Damian Lillard Gets 19 Points In His Comeback Game
2 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard got back to work Monday night, ending a four-game absence with a 19-point effort in a 110-107 win over Miami. It was a rough outing for the Blazers star, but he closed it out in style, delivering a pair of key assists inside the final minute, including on Josh Hart's game-winning triple. Lillard himself managed to hit three shots from deep, but he was only 4-for-12 from the field and could have ended up with very poor scoring numbers if it wasn't for an 8-for-9 effort at the charity stripe. In total, Lillard had six assists in the game with four turnovers and three rebounds in 35 minutes. The six-time All-Star made a pretty quick return from a calf strain, sitting out only 10 days. He logged his usual minutes, so it looks like fantasy managers have no reason to worry about Lillard's status going forward.
