Ranger Suarez Dominant In Game 3 Win
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Ranger Suarez was not initially scheduled to start Game 3 of the World Series when it was scheduled for Monday night, but the rain postponement allowed him to pitch on Tuesday and he delivered on the opportunity, shutting down the Houston Astros for five innings. Suarez earned the win by allowing no runs on three hits and a walk in five innings. He struck out four batters. Suarez has been dominant this postseason, with a 1.23 ERA and 1.02 WHIP, 13 strikeouts, two wins, and a save in five games and 14 2/3 innings.
