A.J. Brown Catches Career-High Three Touchdowns In Week 8
2 years agoPhiladelphia wide receiver A.J. Brown caught six of 11 targets, gaining 156 yards, and scored three touchdowns during the team's 35-13 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The three touchdown grabs were a single-game career-high for the 25-year-old receiver, increasing his total to five on the season. Philadelphia attacked a struggling Pittsburgh passing defense and ended the game by the early fourth quarter. Brown has gained 67 yards or more in six of seven games this year and has exceeded the 100-yard mark twice. The fears that the Eagles would not pass enough to keep Brown in the WR1 conversation for fantasy have been put to rest. The fourth-year receiver will travel to Houston to play the Texans this upcoming Thursday. The matchup is not amazing, as Houston has allowed only two passing touchdowns heading into this Sunday, but Brown is an every-week starter regardless of who he plays against. Consider Brown a WR1 in Week 9.
