Travis Homer To Be Activated From Injured Reserve
2 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks plan to activate running back Travis Homer (ribs) from Injured Reserve before the Week 8 game against the New York Giants, according to head coach Pete Carroll. It would fill the team's open roster spot. Homer missed the team's last four games while on Injured Reserve, but he returned to practice on Wednesday and didn't suffer any setbacks. In his three games before going on IR, the 24-year-old had just four carries for 18 yards while catching all four of his targets for 33 yards. He'll also contribute on special teams, but he'll immediately challenge DeeJay Dallas as the team's primary pass-catching back behind rookie Kenneth Walker III now that he's healthy again. Homer is worth a pickup in deep PPR leagues if he's available.
