Yankees Worried About Retaining Aaron Judge?
2 years agoMost people believe that the New York Yankees will re-sign superstar slugger Aaron Judge when he becomes a free agent this winter. But there are some real concerns within the organization about their chances of retaining him. They expect to be the highest bidder, but they aren't sure how badly he wants to stay in the Bronx. A source suggested Judge didn't see why he should be below Anthony Rendon's $35 million annually and the $30.5 million per year that the team offered him in the spring. The eventual American League MVP will have plenty of suitors on the open market, including teams like the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers, among others.
