Cameron Brate Doesn't Practice Monday
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate (neck) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report. Brate has missed two of the last three weeks due to concussion and neck injuries, and on a short week against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night, it's probably unlikely that he'll suit up. The 31-year-old will have to get back on the field on Tuesday or Wednesday to even have a shot at being active in Week 8. Rookie Cade Otton and Kyle Rudolph will continue to split playing time at the position if Brate misses another contest. In the loss Sunday to the Carolina Panthers, Otton had four catches on five targets for 64 yards, which was second only to receiver Mike Evans. Rudolph caught his only target for eight yards.
