2 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton capitalized on his opportunity with Nelson Agholor (hamstring) and Kendrick Bourne (toe) sidelined. The 22-year-old caught four of his five targets for 37 yards with a TD and carried three times for 16 yards and a rushing score in the Week 6 win over the Cleveland Browns. He logged 40 snaps last Sunday with Agholor inactive and Bourne exiting after four snaps. Thornton could see an expanded role Monday night against the Chicago Bears as Bourne and Agholor remain limited at practice. Thornton has a plus matchup against the Bears, who rank 23rd against opposing WR3/4s this season.
