Allen Lazard A Strong WR2 Option Against Washington
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard will go on the road to face the Washington Commanders Sunday. Since Week 3, the 26-year-old has either scored a touchdown or gained over 100 yards receiving each week. He has been the lone bright spot of a Packers offense that has underperformed in 2022 and is the WR14 overall since returning in Week 2 from an ankle injury. The fifth-year receiver draws his most favorable matchup so far against Washington in Week 7. The Commanders allow the third-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers and are tied for the third-most touchdowns allowed to the position. With eight or more targets the past three weeks, Lazard has a safe scoring floor with the potential to finish as a top 12 WR this week. He should be considered a mid-range WR2.
