Tyler Herro Agrees To Four-Year Extension With Miami
2 years agoMiami Heat guard/forward Tyler Herro agreed to a four-year contract extension with the team. Per club policy, the terms of the deal were not disclosed. The 22-year-old had the best season of his career in 2021-22. He finished the year by averaging 20.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and shot 39.9% from deep while earning Sixth Man of the Year honors. There were rumblings he would traded during the offseason. However, nothing came of it. Although Herro would see similar minutes off the bench, he may enter the starting lineup this season. Either way, the former Kentucky Wildcat should continue to offer efficient shooting percentages to category managers. Yet, his inability to stay healthy has been a problem.
