Bo Naylor On Cleveland's Taxi Squad
2 years agoCleveland Guardians catching prospect Bo Naylor is in Cleveland and is on the team's taxi squad at the moment. Skipper Terry Francona hinted that the team was having discussions about whether to add a third catcher to the active roster. Naylor, the team's No. 5 prospect per MLB Pipeline, would be joining backstops Austin Hedges and Luke Maile. It's uncertain how much playing time Naylor might actually get to close out the regular season, but the 22-year-old left-handed-hitting catcher has hit .257/.366/.514 with an .880 OPS, 15 home runs, 47 RBI, 44 runs scored and nine stolen bases in his 66 games for Triple-A Columbus this year.
