Rowdy Tellez Hits Homer No. 34
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Rowdy Tellez hit the 34th home run of his season Tuesday, a solo shot off St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas in a 6-2 defeat. It was his only hit in four at-bats. Tellez has hit for a low .222 average all year, but his 60 walks and .469 slugging percentage have brought his OPS to a respectable .779 in 568 plate appearances. The 34 round-trippers are a career high, and Tellez has provided solid power to fantasy managers for practically no cost all year.
