Charlie Blackmon In The Lineup Tuesday
Colorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon (hamstring) is serving as the designated hitter and is batting cleanup on Tuesday against the San Francisco Giants and right-hander Logan Webb. Blackmon was forced from Sunday's game early against the San Diego Padres with left hamstring soreness, but he will end up not missing a game after Monday's off day. The 36-year-old veteran outfielder has been cold in the month of September, going 16-for-74 (.216) with no homers, seven RBI, three runs scored and 20 strikeouts in 20 games. However, he's been better recently, going 11-for-33 (.333) with three RBI and two runs scored in nine games since Sept. 17.
