Giants Defense Fails To Slow Down Cowboys Offense In Week 3
2 years agoThe defense of the New York Giants was unable to slow down the Cooper Rush-led offense of the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3. Rush completed 21 of his 31 attempts for 215 yards and a touchdown while the Giants failed to record a sack on the backup signal-caller. While the Cowboys didn't have gaudy numbers through the air, the Giants had no answer for the one-two punch of Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard. New York's defense allowed 178 rushing yards and a touchdown to Elliott and Pollard in the Monday night loss. It was nice to see Kayvon Thibodeaux make his NFL debut in Week 3, but the defense of the Giants doesn't look like a well-rounded unit yet.
