Philadelphia Phillies pitching prospect Andrew Painter has won the organization's Minor League Pitcher of the Year Award with his impressive professional debut in 2022. The club's first-round pick in 2020 was short of perfect in his first campaign and went 6-2 with a 1.56 ERA between Single-A Clearwater, High-A Jersey Shore and Double-A Reading. He also recorded 155 strikeouts and walked just 25 batters in 103 2/3 innings. Despite being just 14 months removed from being drafted at 19 years old, Painter is a consensus top-25 prospect and could even have a chance of making his big-league debut for the Phillies in 2023.
