David Njoku Finds The End Zone Vs. Steelers
2 years agoCleveland Browns tight end David Njoku caught nine of his 10 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in a 29-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3. Njoku was a bright spot in the Cleveland offense, finishing second in receiving behind only Amari Cooper. His second-quarter touchdown came on a seven-yard reception from Jacoby Brissett. Njoku has long held this sort of potential but inconsistency has been an issue for him over the year. That being said, an 89-yard game out of Njoku puts him squarely in the TE1 conversation in fantasy moving forward. He will be a solid starting option in fantasy heading into a Week 4 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
