Detroit Lands Bojan Bogdanovic In Trade
2 years agoThe Detroit Pistons have reportedly landed small/power forward Bojan Bogdanovic in a deal with the Utah Jazz, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The trade will reportedly send veteran big man Kelly Olynyk and young guard Saben Lee headed back to the rebuilding Jazz, as the Pistons are likely to slot the 33-year-old sharpshooter into a prominent frontcourt role. Bogdanovic has taken his scoring to the next level over the past three seasons with Utah, averaging 18.4 PPG over 204 contests, all while knocking down triples at a 39.7 percent clip. The acquisition of Bogdanovic, who is entering the final season of a four-year deal, signals Detroit's desire to potentially push for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, which should bode well for the fantasy upside of the native of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
