Packers Defense Records Three Sacks And A Pick
2 years agoThe Green Bay Packers defense allowed only 10 points, recorded three sacks, and intercepted quarterback Justin Fields once during the team's 27-10 victory over the Chicago Bears. After surrendering 184 yards and two touchdowns to wide receiver Justin Jefferson during last week's 23-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, the Packers held Fields and Chicago to just 70 yards through the air. The team had a much easier time getting after the quarterback, recording five quarterback hits and three sacks. It was a step in the right direction for a defense that had no answers for Minnesota a week ago. The team will try to build upon their strong showing next week as they travel to Tampa Bay to face quarterback Tom Brady and the struggling Tampa Bay offense.
