Travis Etienne Jr. Posts Quiet Performance In Week 2 Victory
2 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. was quiet in the team's shutout win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2, carrying the ball nine times for 20 rushing yards. The second-year back out of Clemson also recorded three receptions for 33 yards in the passing game. With James Robinson coming back from a torn Achilles a season ago, many expected Etienne to command the majority of the touches in Jacksonville's backfield to begin the season. However, Robinson has looked like his normal self as he's seen the majority of backfield touches for the Jaguars. Even though it's been a slow start to the season for the 23-year-old, there are likely better weeks ahead, though, it's going to be tough to guess which weeks he pops off if Robinson continues to thrive.
