Najee Harris Confirms Camp Injury
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (foot) confirmed he has battled a sprained Lisfranc since training camp. He's been dealing with it for a month, so considering an injury of this magnitude takes roughly six weeks to heal, it shouldn't be a factor when the Steelers open the season on September 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals. The sophomore had 307 carries last season. However, even before the injury, the team had hoped to reduce his workload during the 2022-23 campaign. Yet, if this forces Harris to miss time, Benny Snell Jr. is in line to be the primary beneficiary. Harris' managers should strongly consider adding Snell as an insurance policy heading into Week 1.
