Amari Rodgers Held To Two Catches
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Amari Rodgers caught two passes for five yards, adding two carries for 15 yards during their 20-10 win over the Saints on Friday. Of their top-six receivers, only Rodgers and rookie Romeo Doubs participated in the contest, providing an opportunity for Rodgers to showcase his talent. He was targeted five times but failed to surpass five receiving yards and does not appear in line to challenge any of the top-three receivers Allen Lazard, Sammy Watkins, and Randall Cobb for a starting role. Rodgers may be ahead of rookie Christian Watson (knee) because of his injury but will likely fall behind him once he's healthy, making him fifth or sixth on the depth chart and a player to avoid in drafts.
