Brandon Marsh Diagnosed With Bone Bruise
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh (knee) underwent an MRI on his knee. The results showed no structural damage, helping determine his knee injury to be a bone bruise. However, he is also dealing with a sprained ankle. According to Todd Zolecki of MLB.com, it's "very possible" a stint on the injured list is coming. Marsh injured his knee during Tuesday's game after attempting to rob home plate. The 24-year-old has appeared in 12 games with the Phillies since joining the team before the trade deadline. Over those 12 games, he's slashed .250/.294/.313 with two extra-base hits, both doubles.
