Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes is reportedly dealing with back spasms, which gives insight as to why he was not in the lineup for Friday's road matchup against the San Francisco Giants. Manager Derek Shelton told reporters that Hayes is day-to-day, so there's a chance he could be back out there on Saturday. Rodolfo Castro started for Hayes on Friday and would presumably continue to handle the hot corner for as long as Hayes is sidelined.--Matt Terelle
