Devin Williams Notches Sixth Save
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Devin Williams fired a scoreless 10th inning during Thursday's victory over the San Francisco Giants. The 27-year-old was able to protect a one-run lead and notch his sixth save of the season. The right-hander has a 1.77 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 59/19 K/BB ratio across 35 2/3 innings. He is well deserving of being an All-Star this season. Sadly, Williams is blocked from consistent save opportunities due to the presence of Josh Hader. Although, he should continue to get save chances when Hader is unavailable.
