Corbin Carroll Homers In Second Straight Triple-A Game
2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfield prospect Corbin Carroll was promoted from Double-A to Triple-A this past weekend and hasn't disappointed since the promotion. He has homered in each of his two Triple-A games and hasn't struck out once over nine plate appearances. Carroll is currently ranked as the third overall prospect in the majors by MLB Pipeline. Prior to his promotion, he slashed .313/.430/.643 with 16 home runs, 20 stolen bases, 39 RBI and 62 runs over 58 games at Double-A. The 21-year-old could realistically be called up at any point, but there's also a good chance that the Diamondbacks will choose to keep him at Triple-A for awhile longer to refine his skills. He's not a bad stash if you are desperate for outfield help and you have a roster spot to spare.
