Domingo German Looks Sharp In Rehab Outing, Could Be Activated Before All-Star Break
2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German (shoulder) threw four innings of shutout ball, allowing just one hit in his rehab start with triple-A Scranton Wilkes-Barre on Saturday. German could be activated before the all-star break, according to manager Aaron Boone. He has allowed just one earned run over 14 ⅓ innings during his rehab program, and has been stretched out to near a starter's workload. However, the Yankees plan on using German in a multi-inning relief role, limiting his fantasy appeal. If he can crack the Yankees rotation, he could become more interesting.
