2 years agoAtlanta Braves pitcher Kenley Jansen (chest) expects to be activated from the injured list on July 12. He was in the Braves clubhouse Monday and has been doing full workouts. Jansen was placed on the 15-day injured list last Tuesday with an irregular heartbeat. The 34-year-old is eligible to come off the IL on July 12 as the move was retroactive to June 27. Jansen has gone 4-0 with 20 saves and a 3.58 ERA and should return as the primary closer once activated. Fantasy managers could have Jansen back in mid-July and should continue to stash him. Will Smith will continue to handle closing duties while Jansen is sidelined. Smith has notched saves in back-to-back appearances and should be rostered in all leagues.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
