Logan Webb Tagged With His Third Loss On Saturday
San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb took the loss in Saturday's game against the Chicago White Sox, dropping his record to 7-3 on the year. He pitched six innings and allowed six hits, one walk and five runs (three earned) while striking out five. The 25-year-old owns a 3.13 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP on the year. His strikeout rate is down from 26.5% last year to 21.7% this year, but he's continued to do a good job of limiting hard contact this season as batters have an 88 mph average exit velocity and a 5.6% barrel rate against him. He'll be making his next start on the road against the San Diego Padres next Thursday.
