Derrick Jones Jr. Heading Back To Chicago

Free-agent forward Derrick Jones Jr. agreed to a two-year, $6.6 million deal to remain in Chicago. The 25-year-old played 51 games last season, missing time due to a bone bruise in his knee and a fractured finger, and averaged 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds. He'll likely continue to play sporadically from off the bench, so his fantasy outlook isn't the most promising by any means. As a result, Jones will probably go undrafted heading into the start of 2022-23. However, he may pop up as a waiver option at some point, especially if someone goes down with an injury during the year.
