Zack Greinke Pitches Five Scoreless Frames In Rehab Start
2 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Zack Greinke (forearm) had a nearly flawless outing in his first rehab start at Triple-A Omaha on Sunday. He pitched five scoreless innings and allowed one hit and no walks while striking out four. The 38-year-old veteran has been on the shelf since late May due to a forearm strain. Based on his success on Sunday, it seems as if there's a good chance he'll make his next start with the Royals. Across 10 starts in the majors this year, Greinke is 0-4 with a 5.05 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP.
